Eric Canete works a lot in mainstream comics, but his work isn't typical of big books. Beautiful shapes and motion explode from his linework - personally I'm extremely drawn to how he attacks the shadow/black areas. The texture of this inking effect feels amazing.
... And to the lucky jerks who got his marvel sketch cards... I hope you know how lucky you are. His website is here..

Wolf Erlbluch
Amazing everything. I'm in pretty much loving everything I see. Especially the fish pushing the cart with the strawberry. Pure genius.
His illustrations were hard to find online, so I had to steal some from the original post on that informative blog of Hans Bacher's.
Now go buy Erlbruch's books on Amazon!

Ghostshrimp
Ghostshrimp touts themselves as an illustration company, and a good one at that. They are behind some of the genius designs that spew from Pendelton Ward's Adventure Time. Before they were signed on as designers for the show, they had produced a bunch of other sweet lil' designs, go check out the site for more goodness.

Julien Bizat
I really like the simplicity of Gobelins grad Bizat's lines combined with his clean shapes and silhouettes. His animator sensibilities peek through this lighthearted style that goes well with the tone of humor he chooses to apply to his illustrations.

J.R. Goldberg
Came across these adorably violent characters today by J.R. Goldberg. I would love to see these guys in an animated short running wild, stabbing, shooting, and looking all cute...awww.

They call him Grampa'
So... this Rafael Grampa... He has style and linework I might murder a man for.
You should read his book Mesmo Delivery. Blog him here. He is rad.

Chris Sasaki
Sasaki is one of my favorites, and I absolutely mean that. Everything I've seen from this man is pretty darn amazing, so it's hard to choose what to post here. AND he gets brownie points for quoting Annie Get Your Gun. Definitely go visit his blog for more.

Erik D. Martin
Fellow occasional Sketchclubber, Eric D. Martin has some nice character work besides his animation backgrounds and cute illustrations.
