Fabien Mense

I don't read in French so I will have to just make wild assumptions about whats going on here. Fabien Mense is heavily involved in a production called Tadpole Dee with Catfish Deluxe. Not sure if its an animation that they are developing or a comic, but what I am sure of, is that he has some crazy awesome looking characters.

Jackson Dryden

Here's some illustrative character work by Jackson Dryden...

Pixar's Newt

Although Newt has been killed, Pixar has posted some of their development artwork on their facebook page.

Hadi Tabasi

Hadi Tabasi of Iran is quite radical.

Mael Gourmelen

Mael Gourmelen has great poses and expressions in his character development pieces. I can easily imagine all these characters in motion.

Uwe Heidschoetter

The Little Boy and the Beast from mic hic on Vimeo.

I've been following the super talented Uwe Heidschoetter of Germany for a while now. No, not in a creepy, stalk-y way, just his blog. Her attention to the rhythm of her line, and emphasis on personality makes a killer combo when she's co-directing something like Der Kleine Und Das Biest, over at Studio Soi...

Robin Joseph

Robin Joseph has some pretty sweet character development pieces.
